Tonight wasn’t going according to plan at all, and that was frustrating. This was supposed to be fun, to show Regulus the ropes of how things were done in their world. Perhaps they should have eased him into it, but that wasn’t her style. She needed to know where he stood in all of this. She knew the Dark Lord had great faith in Regulus, he wouldn’t have brought him into their world at such a young age. But this was her baby cousin, and she worried about him. After Sirius had been so easily corrupted by those in Gryffindor house, she’d had her concerns that Regulus would follow suit. Thankfully he hadn't been sorted into that horrible house like his brother. And he’d had good friends there, from what she’d seen of the latest batch of Slytherin’s to join their ranks. So far from what she had seen, his fiance was a good influence on him as well, and she was glad that it seemed to be working out between the two of them. Bronwyn was able to hold her own around Alecto, the two of them a new thing that Bellatrix was waiting to pass. Surely Alecto would get bored eventually.
Regulus seemed fine when she saw him, and she was glad to see that she wouldn’t be getting an earful from Walburga later. “Don’t apologize dear,” she said with a smile, walking over to him with a grin. How could two muggles really be that much trouble? Regulus was going on about going after them, which at this point wasn’t necessary. Not when he’d made so much noise in an attempt to slow the muggles down. But Regulus had no reason to lie to her, and he was most likely already properly embarrassed by his inability. “Prewett may be gone but we’ll get them another day, they’re pests that always show up when they aren’t invited,” It seemed like they could hardly get away from those two when it came to work in the field. She stopped the smirk at Alecto’s words to her cousin, not wanting him to see that she agreed. They needed to get out of here quickly, even if they could sway any officials that showed up. “Go on home Regulus, you’ve done enough for the night. I’ll see you at the manor, love.”
