Working with the Mandrakes would be good practice for her, and she was glad that Frank was accepting her offer to help. It would be hard work, but it was good for her. She’d never get better at the subject if she didn’t put forth the effort required to truly understand it. And while perhaps she was showing off just a bit with her charms work, she couldn’t help but be pleased with herself as he checked the pumping system. Charms was the one class she’d always excelled at, and Flitwick had always been so proud of her abilities. She wasn’t even worried for the exams this year, even if she wasn’t entirely sure what would be on it yet.
The quiet walk back to their bags was nice, and she started gave Frank a grin as he complimented her. “Thank you,” she replied to him happily. More students were filling into the greenhouses, which was a good indication that lunch had already begun. There was only one class after lunch - Charms, of all things - before she would be back in the greenhouses for her herbology lessons for the day. Looking up as Frank started to speak, she grinned as she realized what he was asking. She was used to tutoring the younger students, but how could she say no? Especially when he was being so helpful. “Of course Frank,” she said, pulling her bag onto her shoulder. “Walk with me to lunch? We can look over our schedules there and see what time works the best.
