WIZARDING APPLICATION
VITAL INFO
Character Name: Carolina Maria Rosales
Date of birth: 1 Jan. 1961
Age:17
Family: Familia Rosales
Bloodline: Pure
Back Story:
Villa Rosales was at the center of the small magical village on the outskirts of Porto, Portugal where the Rosales family grew and prepared potions ingredients that they later sold at their family owned Apothecary in the city proper. This is where Carolina Rosales was born and passed all of her childhood and for all that time the Villa wasn't just the center of the village it was the center of her whole world. Everything she loved was there: All of her family had always lived together in the villa, Bisavó Maria, Avô and Avó, her Mamãe and Papai, her Tia and Tio, and best of all, all of her cousins. Including Luiza, who was more like a sister than a cousin, and her husband, who wasn't bad either. That was all the people she loved most in the world, save her brothers who came home often enough that she didn’t mind so much anymore that they had moved away and left her after their graduations. She loved the gardens, fields, and forest trails, the leaky greenhouse in the back where they grew cooking ingredients, the potions house that was forever heavy with steam. The ponds and streams and everything in between, it was everything she was.
Carolina was sad to have to leave her home to go all the way to Beauxbaton’s, but she was long resigned to her fate and went without a fuss or tear. She would always return to the Villa, it would be there waiting for her, solid through the generations as it always had been, and that knowledge comforted her. There would always be the Easter festival in the city, and their annual Winter Solstice Ball that never failed to make her home a magical place to be filled with laughter, music, and no shortage of fun. Porto would be waiting and she would be learning, something she had always very much enjoyed.
Unfortunately, she was slightly disappointed when she arrived in France to find a school less inclined to her way of thinking and more inclined to painting sunsets. She preferred real school work to coloring pictures all day. She didn’t like painting or drawing or acting in plays, she didn’t write poems or mournful melodies. She did like listening to music but not playing it and abhorred anything they made her play that had finger slicing strings. She danced fairly well and sang passably but nothing spectacular was ever said about her performance. In fact for someone in a school filled to bursting with the arts, she wasn’t very artsy at all. She would rather be practicing her defense spells, or in the greenhouses, or better yet, on her broom going head to head with a couple of bludgers. Quidditch and football were perhaps the only things at Beauxbaton’s that gave her true joy, it made it worth putting up with all the mandatory art classes. Football was for fun, Quidditch was for keeps. She had flow a bit at home with her brothers and Luiza, but once in school, her training truly began and she attacked it, like she attacked all other things, with everything she was.

The only real sour spot was her social life. She had managed to find some gems in the coal heap that she affectionately called friend but it was hard curbing her natural disposition to fit the more sensitive people surrounding her and she found herself a few enemies as well. Her entanglement with Espen, her cousin-in-law and someone she never should have gotten involved with, created a fair few people who spared her no smiles. But even before then, her decisive thinking and blunt tongue made her mostly unpopular. She tries not to let it bother her and for the most part succeeds. It's easier with Fitz and Felix in her corner, her broom and bat, and a spirit that’s conquered the world.
