I'll be waiting, all that's left to do is run You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess It's a love story, baby just say yes He had managed to get through the day without being a bundle of nerves, so why was it now that the reality of what he was about to do hit him? He had made the trek across the Atlantic Ocean for the second time in his life, for the exact same girl. Some would say he was crazy, showing up at her Hogwarts graduation without telling her. But he had to see her walk across the stage, cheering for her along with her friends and family. Not that she had seen him there, and he hadn’t come across her in Hogsmeade, although he’d hovered around The Three Broomsticks for a while hoping she might walk past with her family. He had wondered if her brother George would recognize him, or if he would even recognize George after so many years. He’d not run into her then, and he wasn’t going back down on his plan after having come all the way to Scotland. He dressed up for the occasion - a dance was the sort of thing you wanted to be fashionable for - and followed the crowds to the gates of Hogwarts. He wasn’t surprised at the extra security by the gate, the war in England was something he’d read up on before coming, Danick had also decided that showing up completely unannounced to surprise Viola was a good idea, it might be better if he had some back up. He’d never written to Morgan before, but he remembered her name from his summer with Vi. She’d made sure he was on the list to be allowed into the castle, and before long he was in a vast hall, surrounded by students. Finding Viola wasn’t going to be easy, and he hovered at the edges of the dance floor scanning for her. He hoped that she wasn’t in the middle of everyone dancing, because he’d never find her then - and then he turned to look behind him and there she was walking in. It had been years, but he had never forgotten her face, and she was just as beautiful as she was in his memories. Would she know it was him, no longer a baby faced 14 year old? He hoped so, and he saw the moment it registered in the girl next to Viola who he was, because she started pointing him out. He had to assume it was Morgan, and he gave her a nod as he came to a stop in front of them. “Mi sirenita, might I have a dance?”

“Morgan, you look so freaking fabulous! Bridge is so lucky. Well you are too. You’re both so lucky!” Vi laughed and held onto her best friend as they exited the common room and made their way to the Great Hall for the last of their dances at Hogwarts. Their Graduation Ball! Viola was overly excited about the entire event. The day had been glorious and the night was sure to follow suit. He parents had cried when she walked across the stage, her brother had shouted so loud it made her laugh, and the love in her friends eyes almost made her lose her composure. It was a perfect day. Someone else would have been upset that though it was a wonderfully, perfect day, it had been spent, essentially, alone. Single. Solo. But Vi couldn’t feel bad about her current dating status one bit. She knew in her heart of hearts that everything happened in it’s own time, and right now she was meant to keep herself company. That didn’t mean she couldn’t be thrilled about her two good friends being in a solid, beautiful relationship. She looked to Mo to tell her as much but her best friends wasn’t looking at her at all. Vi’s brows drew together and she looked out over the festivities. The hall was magnificently decorated, James and Lily had really put in the work to make the night memorable but she couldn’t see any of it. All she could see was “Danick?” Memories came flooding in, old memories from years past when she was young and in love and her Columbian Casanova had been the one to take her heart. She remembered their summer of adventure like it was this morning instead of her graduation. She was fourteen then, and though it was only a three year time lapse, it felt like a lifetime. So much had changed and happened in that time and only recently had she even opened up communication with her old flame again. They were no where near caught up on each others lives. Danny was changed in many ways she knew, he had, if possible, grown more stunning in their time apart, and she knew things had happened in his life that had shaped him into someone new. She was different as well, her hair was longer and she had fully grown into the body of her womanhood, but more than that, her mind had flourished in ways she was proud of. With all of their alterations, would they even know one another now? Vi’s brain tripped into gear again at the thought, barely overcoming the shock of it all to take his hand in hers -when had she released Mo? Where was Mo? But she found, she couldn’t be bothered to search for any of her friends, not when Danick was here. Her other hand lightly touched his face, and she smiled a smile she had only smiled for him, feeling all the things she had left behind in Italy resurfacing as if no time at all had gone by. Hearing him call her that, the name he had bestowed upon her before they had even met, the one whispered with such sweet sensuality it made her stomach knot, still did things to her she couldn't explain. “Si.” she said with a chuckle, stepping closer. “Let’s dance, and while we do you can tell me how you came to be here. I’m sure it’s a story I’ll enjoy.”
