When Margaret Travers met Callum Bletchley, it was love at first sight for her. The hard part was convincing Callum that it was the case. Without using a love potion, even though she was tempted, the two began dating and fell in love, and after they were married for a few years along came Morgan, their only child. The problem was that Margaret had failed to mention that she was a witch until after Morgan was born, and Callum was quite shocked to find out about magic. Shocked enough that the two of them split, and within a year were divorced.
Morgan stayed with her mum, as she was only three at the time, but she missed her father terribly. Getting to see him was the highlight of every week, and the two weeks every summer that they spent together was something she always looked forward to. It wasn’t that she hated her mother, Morgan just blamed her for separating their family. At home with her mum in Wembley, she learned about magic and watched dishes wash themselves. With her Dad, she learned how to do things the muggle way, and went on motorcycle rides with him whenever he would let her. He got her a leather jacket when she was ten, and she still cherished it even though it no longer fits.
Going to Hogwarts was heart wrenching for her, to be away from her family. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, and soon found that she could have a family at the school as well. Her friends mean the world to her, and over the years she dated here and there, never really finding that she wanted anything serious. If her parents' marriage couldn’t last, how could she make a relationship work? She also discovered a dislike for rules, and a strong dislike for the pureblood supremacy that ran rampant in this magical world. She wanted to fight against it, and so she put in the work to join the Aurors after school, determined to make a difference. But she didn’t realize just how much the war would take out of her, and drinking is simply so much fun...
