Back Story:
The youngest of the Bones children and the only girl, Amelia was raised in a loving wizarding home in a mixed neighborhood. This meant that while she was learning all about magic and her own budding powers, she had to keep secrets from her friends, and watch her brothers keep secrets from theirs as well. It was difficult for the younger girl, who wanted badly to blab to every single one of the kids in the neighborhood how brilliant her family was, because they could fly on brooms, set tea on the table with nothing but a flick of the wrist, and turn a boyish hand-me-down from her brother into a sundress with ease, but her parents explained at length why she needed to keep their family's blessings to themselves, and Amelia understood.
Her brothers each set off for Hogwarts in turn, eventually leaving Amelia home to brood over what she viewed as a delay in her magical teachings. Always leaning towards the competitive side, Amelia vowed she wouldn't let her brothers outshine her despite their age advantage. Upon arrival at Hogwarts, Amelia spent what felt like a lifetime under the sorting hat, debating the pros and cons of each house and arguing with the hat about where she ought to be placed. It sounded to Amelia to be rather exasperated when it finally shouted "Hufflepuff." Amelia excelled in most of her lessons, though she enjoyed Defense and Transfiguration the most. She was a gifted student, making Prefect in her final three years. She was also an avid club member (Frog Choir, Dueling Club, and Debate), and a Chaser for the house quidditch team from her second year on.
Following her graduation, Amelia took a position as an MLE clerk before being accepted to the Auror training academy. She worked hard to prove herself and no one was more pleased than her father when she became a full-fledged Auror. Amelia has since moved into a place of her own and works long hours, but she still makes time for her family and friends as often as possible.

Amelia is a tad competitive. Alright, possibly more than a tad bit. The only girl in the family, she made sure no one ever expected less of her for any reason and if they did, she made them regret it. She was just as strong as the boys, just as loud, and just as protective over her family as the rest of them. She was also just as kind. Amelia has a big heart, and wants to give everyone a fair go before making judgements about them. That's not to say she hasn't made a few enemies at school or held petty grudges against people, but on the whole she's rather fair.
Amelia is quite busy with her chosen profession - there is a war going on after all! - so she doesn't fuss much about her love life. That's not to say she's celibate, by any means, but she's not worried about finding a partner and settling down. There will be time enough for that when she's dead. If someone special does happen to come along, Amelia is open to love, but she is also open to casual relationships that require much less emotional contribution and effort.
