Back Story: Daisy Hookum was born to two loving parents. Her father, Bert Hookum, was a muggle. He never learned of her magical powers, as he unfortunately died when Daisy was still very young. Daisy was raised by her mother, a fabulous witch who had very little to do with her magical family. She had been shunned for marrying a muggle, and as such, Daisy's life was always just with her mother.
Still, she was surronded by magic, and grew up knowing simple spells. She wasn't surprised to recieve her Hogwarts letter, as she had heard many things from her mother about the school. While her mother had been in Hufflepuff, Daisy was sorted into Gryffindor. The two were absolutely delighted. As a present, her mother purchased her a large black cat, which Daisy absolutely dotes on.
Her years throughout Hogwarts were calm. She did well in school, not an overachiever or ever at the top of her class. But she got by. She particularly enjoyed muggle studies, as she had never really learned much about the muggle way of living due the death of her father. She also excelled in creative writing, spending a majority of her free time writing stories.

Style/Other characteristics: Daisy doesn't care about fashion, she cares about what is comfortable. Of course, her mother had other things in mind. From a very young age, Daisy was taught to dress for her body, and to dress in a very feminine fashion. While she doesn't keep up on the latest styles, she always makes sure to do her hair and makeup in the mornings. She loves flowing dresses and skirts, although she would be more comfortable if she could spend the entire day in pajamas. Still, she makes sure to always look presentable. She even paints her nails, although she bites most of the polish off before the end of the day.
TEMPERAMENT
Daisy is incredibly shy and timid. She has a hard time opening up to people, as she spent her entire life with just her mother. She didn't have any friends before she arrived at Hogwarts. Once she got to school, she was able to open up more and meet people. Still shy, though, she doesn't like to start conversations with people she hardly knows. She also avoids confrontation, and hates when people fight. She spent a good part of her years avoiding the common room during parties, as people tended to get drunk and fight.
