She was supposed to be here for Charlotte, and instead she had turned into a crying mess. But everything that Charlotte was going through - Daisy had been there. She knew how difficult it was to be fighting about something that you didn't really understand. Peter had waited so long to finally tell her about his job, and that had been a sour spot for her. So whatever secret Remus was keeping, Daisy hoped he spoke up soon. Charlotte and Remus simply had to work out, they were perfect for each other. And Charlotte wasn't scared in the way that Daisy was. Glad to feel the warmth of her friends hand on hers, she gave Charlotte a calm smile. No matter what happened, she would always have her best friend. That much was true. And while Charlotte never had seemed like she wanted kids, Daisy knew she'd be an excellent mother one day if that was her choice. Charlotte was the best at giving her advice, always telling Daisy exactly what she needed to hear - even if it wasn't what she wanted to hear. "Thank you Charlotte," she answered. She needed to make a decision and trust herself, that much was for sure. "I'll write him a letter at least, it would be good if we talked. And I promise I will think about things." She took a moment to finish off the last of her chocolate, before leaning over to pull Charlotte in a hug. "And I know Remus will come around. Trust me, he's head over heels for you. He'll fix this."

As serious as their talk had turned - or perhaps because of it - Charlotte felt a quiet laugh escape her at her friend's last. She gave the girl a squeeze before collecting the empty chocolate wrappers. The treat seemed to have done its trick, maybe it really was as magical as Remus sometimes jokingly claimed. It was just so new - even after all these months - to hear that Remus was head over heels for her. She'd not thought there would be a bloke like that with her, but she did feel it was true. They would be all right, meaning too much to the other to let one fight ruin things. "Thanks, rather head over heels for him too, Merlin save us," she admitted, crumpling up the wrappings and tossing them into the bin. "Now," the girl continued, wiping the under-eyes of her friend with her thumbs with a smile, "what do you say we go and have dinner, hm?" Crying was exhausting, she was finding, as were these big discussions. She didn't want to press her friend any more, the little redhead having come to a conclusion about getting in touch. That was a big step, and, in Charlotte's opinion, a necessary one. After some brain food, some heart food, and some time - and then they could come back up to the Tower, write the letters they needed to write, and hopefully have a more relaxed night.
