I've made a mess of things, Roddy.

I know it's late, and you've still got to finish up the year, and I shouldn't distract you from your exams, but I need your advice.

I've made a bloody awful mess of things.

Finally told Phoebe everything. She left. She left. I didn't think that could ever happen, but she's gone. I know I should've told her way earlier, but I'm facing some stuff right now, didn't feel right making these decisions without her (will tell you when you're home, not safe over letters). So I thought we'd talk and - I mean, I don't know exactly what I expected, but I never thought she'd leave.

We've fought, what couple doesn't? But I didn't mean to hurt her like this.

What if she doesn't come back?

I can't sleep - I need to go after her. I bet she's at her mum and dad's.

Get back to me when you can. I just can't make this worse.

Don't worry about bothering me Ed, it's just an exam. Besides, I feel like this situation is a little more important than me reading the same line of notes over and over.

Haven't you been gearing up to tell her forever? I mean what exactly happened that could cause you two to fight, for her to leave? I just don't see Phoebe taking it that bad, she's got a good head on her shoulders.

Is it the whole job thing? Because I could maybe see that.

Look, she is probably at her parents but I think you need to give her space. I'll be home soon and we can talk about the decisions you are making and such.

But she will come back. She loves you.
