Bridget,

I’ve heard some wonderful news, and it’s that you and Mo are tying the knot! You know, old me would have had a breakdown over this but after all the hell this world is and our time apart, I’m just glad to see that you are happy. You and Mo are good together, even if I was too blind to see that when we were 17. She’s your person, and it’s so good to know that you’ve got your person. Gives me hope that my person is still out there. Mum keeps trying to introduce me to every gay girl she meets, which I adore. She asks every cute girl she meets if they might want to date her kid. Classic Liz.

I will be embarrassing you at your wedding, I hope you know. I’ve been thinking about which stories to tell, but don’t worry I won’t tell all your friends and family anything too scandalous. I’m thinking about the first time we properly met, with me literally crashing into you. Who would have thought a lavatory would lead me to one of my closest friends.

My parents told me to tell you hello, we are going to visit the old house in Scotland tomorrow together. I haven’t been back since we moved to London during school, so it will be cool to see it. The family that bought it is on vacation, and they offered to let us stay in the house while they are gone. I hear they’ve got horses, and I haven’t been on a horse in so long. Wish I could take you with me and show you around the place. After what happened to the Bones family, I need this time away.

What do you think about getting together for drinks once I’m back? Me, you and Mo. I will be buying of course, and we should invite Bennett. We can't leave him out of the festivities. Ask him in advance if he’ll be my date to your wedding, won’t ya?
